Groups of four observation points are connected to form tetrahedrons, and a linear interpolation is used to calculate head gradients for each tetrahedron. Application of Darcy's Law then yields velocity components. The program may be used for confined and unconfined anisotropic or homogeneous aquifers.

THCVFIT is an interactive program to determine transmissivity and storage coefficient from pumping tests. The method involves instantaneous raising or lowering of the water level in a well and measuring the water-level recovery through time.
